"They booked me in a room that wasn't even a room. It looked like it was just a extra space that they put a number on. And the call system outside didn't even have my room on it. The bathroom door didn't shut, the chair was so butsed that the bottom was falling out from underneath it. The wall paper was this awful orange and brown print. I was very upset when I got there and relized I couldn't get a refund. I wish I could have my money back and stay in some place like The Empress."

A Moderate First Class hotel designed somewhat as a castle. The hotel offers large units with fully equipped kitchens and a separate living room and also feature a balcony. The hotel is located on the Gorge overlooking the scenic water inlet and just minutes from downtown Victoria. Located off the gorge overlooking the scenic water inlet and just minutes from downtown Victoria, this superior tourist-class hotel features a castle- like design. The units are spacious and offer fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and balconies. Guest facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE CREDIT CARD NUMBER IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE OR TO CONFIRM ANY RESERVATION. Please specify number of guests in room adults/children. Hotel allows small pets in select 1 bedroom suites for an additional charge per room night per pet. Subject to availability.
